Honoring the fallen marines in Krynki
The Marines remember their own.
The public organization “VETERAN MARINE CORPS OF UKRAINE” initiated the installation of a memorial stele in honor of the marines who died in the area of the settlement of Krynki.
Today, it is not possible to install it where the events took place.
Therefore, a temporary location has been determined - the embankment in the city of Zaporizhzhia.
This is not a replacement. This is a point of memory that should already exist.
Approvals have been received from local authorities. Technical, design and financial issues are being worked out.
Implementation will be announced later.
Memory is not the past. It is the responsibility of those who remain.
Proposals for cultural and memorial programs
We are open to initiatives in the field of commemoration of the Marines and the development of cultural programs.
At the same time, only those proposals that are backed by a willingness to do real work — organizing, coordinating, and supporting the project on site — are considered.
If you are able to take responsibility for the implementation of the initiative in your region, send a proposal with a brief description and your vision.
Formal or unsupported appeals will not be considered.
