Support for a sibling

Support may be needed from the time of injury or after discharge. Help your sibling to undergo treatment, recovery and return to life.

We are looking for veterans who:

— have already gone through their own path of adaptation
— are ready to be in touch with a sibling during a difficult period
— can spend 1–2 hours a week for communication
— understand the value of personal example and experience

Your task is not to "solve problems" and not to replace specialists.
Your task is to be there, support and help you go through this path.

The participants of the program receive support from the organization - consultations of a psychologist and a social worker, and also work within the defined rules of interaction, which ensure the safety and effectiveness of communication.

Community leaders

Your service continues. This time — in the civil life of your city.

We are launching a program for veterans who are ready to influence processes in their communities and take responsibility for change.

It is not about "activity for the sake of activity".

It is about systemic work: understanding how the government works, how decisions are made and how to influence them.

We are looking for veterans who:

  • have a clear understanding of the problem in their community
  • ready to learn and work with civilian tools
  • want to influence, not just observe
  • ready to take responsibility for the result

Program participants receive:

  • training in practical tools for working with authorities
  • mentoring support from lawyers, representatives of local self-government and public figures
  • the ability to act on behalf of the organization in its region
  • support in the implementation of specific initiatives

This is an opportunity to continue service — already in the management system of your community.

Implementation of military experience and competencies

Ukrainian veterans have unique practical military experience that arouses interest at the international level.

International cooperation shows that abroad there is a demand for:

  • real combat experience
  • tactical knowledge
  • applied skills acquired during service

This is an opportunity to transform your experience into a new activity format.

We are forming a pool of veterans who:

  • ready to share their experience
  • interested in international cooperation
  • are considering the possibility of its further implementation

If you see such a direction for yourself, leave information.

Career counseling for veterans

Returning to civilian life is often accompanied by new questions: where to go next, how to use the acquired experience in the civilian profession, how to find a job or change the direction of activity.

UNIT 6.0 career counseling helps veterans determine the next professional step, assess their strengths and opportunities, prepare for job search or training.

During consultations you will be able to:
•    determine own skills and competencies;
•    to understand what career opportunities suit you;
• draw up a professional development plan;
•    prepare a resume and LinkedIn profile;
•    prepare for interviews;
•    receive support during the job search phase.

Counseling is provided by certified career counselors who are also veterans and understand the challenges of transitioning from service to civilian careers.

Psychological Recovery Program “Tykha Vatra”

In cooperation with NGO Laguz. Location — Kosiv district, Ivano-Frankivsk region.

Participation is free of charge. Accommodation and meals are included.

Sometimes, to move forward, it is enough to be in a place where nothing needs to be proven. Where people nearby understand your experience, and around you there is silence, nature, and space for recovery.

“Tykha Vatra” is a psychological recovery program for veterans that creates a safe environment for rest, rethinking past experiences, communicating with fellow servicemembers, and restoring inner resources. It combines professional psychological support, time spent in nature, and work in small groups built on trust, mutual support, and respect.

At the heart of the program is the individual — their experience, needs, and personal pace of recovery. This is not treatment or training, but an opportunity to step away from daily concerns for a while, be among those who understand without extra words, receive professional support, and take another step toward inner balance.

If you wish to participate in the “Tykha Vatra” program, please fill out the form below. After processing your application, the organizers will contact you, provide detailed information about the program, and inform you about the possibility of joining one of the upcoming sessions.
